Enzo Maresca

It's quite possible that he has been a long term project all along, brought in to the U23 set up to learn the club, being an assistant, allowed to go Leicester to learn more, where he did well enough to ping chelsea interest to give him a go, but City have always been talking to him thoughout it all.
Yes, Txiki said as much when he was brought in to our youth set-up. At the time it woukd have been seen as smoke blowing, but maybe it was real.

Problem is that our senior players like Haaland, Rodri, Gvardiol, Donarumma, Cherki. etc. need manager with big authority, otherwise it will be difficult to manage them and control the discipline.

If the plan is to sell these players and let Maresca build something on top of academy graduates and young unproven talents, then maybe it's OK

I see him more as a manager who is able to help young talents grow and teach system / philosophy.

But trade-off is that, you can't compete for major titles.
I reckon a load of Barca fans were saying the same when they promoted the Barca B manager to the first team and he didn’t win in his first couple of games.

You do know, he’s already worked with a lot of these players. And he definitely doesn’t lack being a disciplinarian

No one's said it's the main reason for hiring him. Again, you're making things up.
I give up. Apparently the word if holds no meaning anymore. Everything is either black or white.
Am I confused or did you say then why not hire Pep L.? Based on what? Definitely not his resume as a manager...based on him knowing the club?

The more videos I watch about him the more I think we may have something here. I'm watching him talk about tactics and how every player is a chess piece and I think hes going to do wonders with this squad.

The way he out smarted Enrique by going all in on a weakness he found in that PSG side was amazing. He realised that Mendes was a good 1v1 defender but struggled with technical players so he put Gusto on him and it made Mendes unavailable for most the game.

We are a world-class operation. We recruited Maresca and then observed him closely - his tactics, man management, relationships, adaptability, etc. If we now choose to recruit him again, it is because he impressed.

So is Fraudiola. But it has become more of a satirical fuck you now. Not sure how the poster intended his, but Temu Pep may well be the new Fraudiola.
I think it was December 2017/January 2018 when the “fraud” comments about Pep stopped appearing in the WhatsApp groups I’m in, posted by Rags.

Think it was roughly our 15th/16th win in a row where it completely stopped.

Good luck, Temu Pep.

A lot of blues will need to lower their season's expectations and support him, along with his methods.
Utterly pathetic from a blue. If you hadn't posted so many times previously I'd be seriously questioning your allegiances. It almost makes it worse that you would spout such shite as a long standing fan. I guess it's the power of social media mentality that is brainwashing people everywhere into coining pathetic phrase like that.

I'm looking forward to see what he can bring to this team.
I don't think he'll have a problem adapting tactically, maybe it'll be more about how he deals with the big players and personalities. He'll need to get the senior players on-board quickly but this younger squad may work to his advantage

He will have a lot of goodwill in the bank from the treble season, I am sure he was close to several members of the squad (even if many have still moved on).

Decent job at Chelsea also and I don't remember any reports of him losing hte dressing room or anything, so his reputation within the players groups should still be good.

If he is appointed you will need to get used to a strangely boring and predictable style but I have no doubt he would deliver trophies

The ball will be passed to death and it will become increasingly frustrating .

When he left Leicester to join us I had a few conversations with Leicester supporters and to say they were conflicted is an understatement. Ironically when he left I knew exactly what they meant.

Eh? The chelsea team loved him.
Question marks on his game managment and how he handled their injuries. Pep did get us in to a few scrapes during his spell but there was a guarantee he could come up with a suitable solution. I am not sure Maresca can do that.
