Enzo Maresca

Can openly admit I am not a huge fan of his potential arrival so I decided to watch some of his interviews. He actually seems quite a personality and good fun, definitely misjudged him slightly.

Top 4, a good run in Europe would be more than good enough Id imagine for his first season.

As long as the raggies are 5th or below
 
Wouldn't shock me if he played a back five.

As of now we've got Guehi, Khusanov, Dias, Gvardiol, Ake and potentially Reis.

With the likes of Nunes and O'Reilly holding through width it affords us the opportunity to get the likes of Doku, Cherki, Foden etc much closer to Haaland.

Wouldn't expect so, he has always played a back 4 with a full back inverting,except when he was with us and recommended the centre back being the one stepping into midfield,because he was the best footballer.O'Reilly seems tailor made for the role.

There are a lot of Chelsea and neutral fans saying O’reilly may play midfield in Maresca system as he has all the attributes to play as a midfielder in his system And we buy a left back if Ait Nouri can’t do what Maresca demands.

Full backs have to do a lot in this Maresca system, create, score , win their duels and play midfield they also have to be very good at 1v1 defending

I think he is going to surprise a few and I can see us playing more entertaining football than last couple of seasons. He seems like a madman who thinks football 24*7 which is what we had and we like.

Maybe, but not if we have Anderson and Rodri,though he could rotate in midfield with those 2 I suppose.
 
is knowing the club and being Pep’s assistant a sufficient criteria to be the manager ?

And was Alonso not considered just because he may play some different formation ?

Baffling .

Wish him success but he could be well be Moyes for us
 
According to Chelsea fans after his first training session he already knew who would be staying and going that’s when that “bomb squad” was formed he told them straight to their face find another club you won’t play here.
