I think they could. Pep can be too rigid for some maybe. Or perhaps the opposite is true. You never know with a new boss and new dynamics how people might emerge.

None appear likely to become regular starters I would think. Whether any of them want to leave remains to be seen. Since we have few if any squad members who would not need to be replaced I think most will remain for another season at least. My home is that we concentrate on quality rather than quantity this window which might mean holding onto players who most don't believe in.

I wouldnt be upset if we sold Reijenders, Lewis and Gonzales especially if we bring in Anderson and MWG and keep Jack. I like Marmoush, hes a good player but he's not consistent. Good back up if needed.

I like Ait Nouri, he got a run of games in January, February and he seemed to form a very good partnership with Cherki. I wonder if Bernardo going means O’Reilly moving next to Rodri which the left side of defence can be rotated with Gvardiol and Ait Nouri.

Whisper it but Marmoush is a much more Maresca striker than Haaland.

Similar to when Pep used Gabby to prove a point to Sergio (and Sergio rose to that challenge!)

Letting too many backroom staff go at once.
No need for "stamping his mark" etc. The whole emphasis and aim, should be seamless, as possible, transition.

I’m not sure Moyes made mistakes, he was just left with an ageing squad that had its last hurrah in Fergie’s last season. Fergie did not plan further past the end of his own final campaign because his ego didn’t let him care enough about the future of that club.

Moyes needed three years to rebuild the squad and I think he might have more successful if he’d still been there now as they have with the dozen or so managers they’ve had since they got rid of him.
