I might be chatting shit here but I seem to remember that Varadi’s mum or dad died the day before that game but he insisted he was ok to play on.

Did he ever if i remember he encouraged everybody get a drink just before time to get back on the coach, then when they couldn't finish them he did :-)

He is mate his health stops him getting to away games anymore sadly but he's still ticking on was treasurer of the overall OSC until recently. Doesn't get to many home games either now from what I hear :-(

Good that he’s still clocking on. I got roped into driving that lot to Millwall on the back of a free ticket, never again! Half of them fucked off in the middle of London and left us asking local punters the way to the old Den. Happy days!
