Maybe it’s just the ones on the internet.

But, Even the best man at my wedding has this weird thing with the monarchy and queen. He tries and gets insults in about her every time she’s brought up in conversation.

No issue with people wanting to change the constitution, I disagree but it’s a valid opinion… it just seems to come with a weird hatred for a woman who’s in her 90s and has lived an honourable life.

Firstly, I’m not angry in any way shape or form at an old lady as it’s not her who’s been fucking underage’kids’.
Secondly I don’t get where you think anyone want to ‘murder’ an old lady as it’s not been mentioned once.
Lastly, the whole point some of us are making us that the royal family will have know about the company they keep, the security forces around them will have known about the rumours in the least, they’ll also have know if their whereabouts as logs will have been kept. That’s what people are angry about.

I’ve no hatred for Liz. She strikes me as a bitter old type that’s completely detached from any of the reality that many of us live. I’ve an issue with the corruption and will celebrate the day the whole fairytale is moved into the background where it belongs but I don’t hate her. The husbands gone, the favourite is on his way and the ginger grandson seems to have took the fame tablet. The rest would struggle to raise a smidgin of public interest between them.

He was a racist throw back to times gone by. The PR machine went into overdrive to make him ‘British’ when they met. I think there were British troops on the streets of Athens at the time they were courting. That PR machine is what you call the institution.
 
Do we need a monarchy in 2022? I’m not sure to be honest. Certainly not one supported by the tax payer. I wish them no ill feeling but I just feel they are irrelevant. I’d be in favour of giving notice of termination of the sovereign grant (80m+ this year) and asking the family to fund themselves from their own wealth. Tricky thing is that the monarchy is so entwined in law and legislation that it would take decades to untangle, but you need to start somewhere
