Innocent until proven guilty and all that. Some folk are so caught up in the politics of envy and their own anti-monarchy shizzle that they forget that nothing has been proven.

Actually got fed a feed a couple of days ago that said the same. And although there were a few dissenting voices out there, the prevailing overall view is that they are both alright. And tbf Thry seem alright to me.

Somehow!

So based on my previous postings, if true, then Andrew deserves some credit for this.

People are complicated.

Yet there seems to have been enough substance for the king to have taken decisive action.

I wonder about his daughters and how he can ever look them in the eye again if he has done what has been alleged, especially as Virginia Giuffre was only five years older than his elder daughter, Princess Beatrice, their birthdays being a day apart.

On a lighter note, Princess Beatrice is said to be a City fan!

I disagree with the reason you have focused on in relation to his conduct with Guiffre. Surely the fact she was trafficked, and he would have known it, is far more reprehensible than her being just shy of her 18th birthday.

Bizarre that people think her age is the stand out characteristic of his many sins around Victoria Roberts.

Surely the fact she didn’t want to be there, and was consequently raped, is far more egregious.

On what planet is that not more egregious?

Based on what exactly? As I said previously I’ve no idea what they’re like. But I’d want more than some radio phone in.

My evaluation of them, having observed them.

I have absolutely no doubt that I have as wide a circle of friends, in terms of social class, than anyone on this board. I genuinely take people for who they are. And despise any form of snobbery. There are great people and cunts in all walks of life.

This all makes me well placed (I feel) to evaluate people from all walks of life, without fear or favour. I genuinely don’t care about someone’s social class, but I think most people do.

And they seem alright to me. Just based in me observing and evaluating them.

fwiw, which is pretty much fuck all!

No. I don’t have a negative or positive starting point for anyone. I judge people as I meet them, get to know them or, in the case of people I’ll never meet, I listen to a wide range of informed opinions.
(Unless they support United. In which case my mind is, sadly, and counter-productively, already made up.)
