Easy to reimagine the past. The fact is, savile was pretty much a national treasure and at one point him presenting a TV programme would pretty much guarantee huge viewings figures and success.

I am not reimagining anything. I always thought he was a talentless ****. Never liked him and couldn't understand why anybody else liked him.

I would say operating as a covert and broadly undetected paedophile for several decades, whilst openly and brazenly being dressed as a paedophile throughout, requires a talent of sorts.

Hundreds of celebrities have unveiled a new emaciated look at around the same time that a bunch of weight loss drugs came out, so I wouldn’t be too quick to link it to their dad’s actions.

Enough of them for Stephen Magnan to joke about celebrities being 'on the pen' as he termed it on HIGNFY. Used to be that you would worry about illness when you saw huge weight loss in someone but with the well off it probably is more likely these days to be something like ozempic.

I do feel sorry for them. Imagine finding out your dad has the bronze medal for noncing, only losing out to Jimmy Savile and the guy from Lostprophets.
