Cya snail.
Not bothered either way, but promotion on merit, performance etc have nothing to do with answering a question about barcelona that has no answer other than the one he gave just stating facts as they are. It has no bearing on my feelings about him as a player or person either way.I don't understand why folks accept this tbh.
'I hope to fuck off in a year from now but in the meantime I'll play for City' is not usually considered a suitable attitude for our players.
But no rules of promotion on merit, performance or committment seem to apply to this kid.
I can't ever remember anyone else getting such leeway in each area.
A few complimentary words from Pep work miracles it seems.

If he lingers on he wont get any game time so he probably will leave.Yes, he's been honest that he's happy to hang around at City for a year then fuck off for free if neccessary.
Not usually deemed acceptable by City fans nor fair game for being aired in public.
He shouldn't do, but Pep played him in a CL quarter final where he helped contribute to us losing. If he lingers on he wont get any game time so he probably will leave.
It isn’t what he said, he said he’s going back to City. Which as it stands he is. It would be a bit presumptuous if he answered, I haven’t signed a new contract and I expect to be signing for Barcelona next week. What would you have said ?Yes, he's been honest that he's happy to hang around at City for a year then fuck off for free if neccessary.

Give Garcia his wish and let him go, Any player that doesn't want to be a City should be shipped out. No player is bigger than our football club especially not Eric Garcia.
These lads think the grass is greener on the other side, He's a kid turning down a new contract at City which recently gave him numerous first team opportunities. He might go back to Barcelona and be sat on the bench for the entire season too.Similar situation to Brahim Diaz (who I was disappointed in him going to move to Real Madrid's bench).

I would rather not talk about that thank you, City have given me a wonderful opportunity & I'm very grateful, wonderful working with Pep, ultimate respect for the club etc.
Like he would if he played for Barca, the little twat.
See Mason Greenwood & Harry Maguire.
in some ways, he did say he was in the national squad because of city.
The kid will be gone by the end of the window. If barca pay fair or in some ways get him included in a deal for messi if that is what it takes. I just don't see anything malicious or ungrateful in the comments to a direct question pep has already answered. At least he didn't contradict him.
He would probably suit a less physical league. These lads think the grass is greener on the other side, He's a kid turning down a new contract at City which recently gave him numerous first team opportunities. He might go back to Barcelona and be sat on the bench for the entire season too.
