The only thing stopping me from thinking this is dead is the fact that when we are out on these types of players, City normally spin it to look like either We weren't interested or the demands were too high.
We haven't seen that in this case, makes me wonder, whether Kane is just us playing a game with Mino and Alfie, or we moved to Kane because we felt it would be easier to do, and if it does get overly complicated we'll go back to Haaland.

I think the club is comfortable with the narrative out there being that we’re interested in Kane. I’m struggling to see where he would end up at in Spain. Madrid? They want Mbappe first. It’s less and less a league to form superstar like it was in the past. The PL is the league that tops the conversations around the world and could use some superstars

He is outstanding at being 17, probably the best in the world at present.
