He gets big deals but he takes a big chunk for himself too making it more expensive for the buying club. I don't know but would hazard a guess that's a big reason we dropped it. I think Haaland could get a great deal for himself without Raiola, his dad is more than capable. All Raiola does is rule out some clubs. it may get him a bit more money, but if footballing reasons were his priority he'd widen his choice and maybe accept he gets a liitle less money,

Looking back, I suspect that City made moves for Kane very early and have gone all in. I think at this point a Haaland deal would be too impractical to make work.

If Kane doesn't happen though and Haaland stays at Dortmund, we might see a change of direction in favour of Haaland.

With the paperboy signing a new contract he will have to decide if he will develop his game under the expert tutolage of Pep or watch OGS putting cones out for the next four seasons , and if he does join the Rags it will not be for the prospects of winning trophies or improving his game , it will be to improve his bank balance because the Rags will pay stupid money to get one over us , Sanchez and £550k a week being the perfect example.
