Could Kane be a smokescreen and we ultimately buy Haaland? I was convinced we were in for Koulibaly last summer and then bang: Dias.

£120m was our supposed maximum, now all the talk seems to be we’ll pay £120-130m plus addons, so £150m no matter how you dress it up.
Complete madness, not only is he not worth that it’ll fuck up some of our future deals cos they’ll know if they play hardball we’ll pay it.

Scored twice in the DFB Pokal already and the first half isn’t yet over
fucking hell this guy will shit load of goal in next 10 years. he will be the only one who will get close to to crazy goal tallies per season CR and Messi has had over last decade. Lewandowski had couple similar season too to be fair.
whoever brave enough to sign him will do a fantastic deal.
if we stick into Burnley imo he would still score a shit load there as well.
the step up from Salzburg/Austrian league to Dortmund/Bundesliga did not even cause any challenge for him.
wonder he was ever on our radar while at Molde and what was the reason we never made a move for him. also its very clever way of building him up to learn his trades at Salzburg then he could have gone to very strong clubs but chose another stepping stone club at Dortmund which is a great club for young players to get a chance and still play regular quality football and CL too.
I wish we were in for him.
too bad it seems certain Txiki is not in the business of getting him.
