I would only do that if the scum and Chelsea also adjusted their expectations the same, otherwise if they can reasonably expect him to sign for them then so can we.

Not only that but our need is greatest, and I fully expect the club to realise this and do everything possible to persuade him and his entourage that City is the best club he can sign for.

I flat out refuse to believe that we are less of a draw for the world’s best than Chelsea, Bayern or those rag shitheads. Apart from corrupt officials, what do any of those have to offer a new player that we don’t?

I don’t believe that us not being a draw will come into it. I just don’t believe the club will entertain paying the salary or the exhorbitant agents fees that this deal demands no matter how much we ‘need’ him tbh. Frankly, when figures of £600k plus per week are being thrown about in the press I don’t blame them. Move on.
