Thanks. Having read 'the true cost' on plenty of our transfers where some bored journalist throws every figure he can into the mix, I will discard that. His formal transfer fee reported was 20m. His release clause 75m. Daft yes, disproportionate, probably not If you add 35m onto that, sure, but that's not necessarily true.
Normal transfers don't include €25m in agents fees - more than the money spent on the player.

Discard if you want, it's still there.

Is it though?

It is there, if there is an article by marca, quoting la gazette, drawing a conclusion from a claim by the guardia that Utd disnt sign the player because that is what they would have expected to pay if they were to have tried to sign him.

Piss poor defending but always in the right place.

Great assist by Bellingham too.

We could do with both players.
Haaland is the dream I'd take both along with a left back next summer would be perfect if we could get all that, just whether we'd be willing to pay Dortmund that muc for him (Jude) but personally I'd be surprised if Bellingham isn't England an England regular for the majority of this decade he offers so much.

Let’s have it right, nobody envisaged Ronaldo and Messi’s stats would be touched, here we have a kid, injuries permitting, that could wipe that out in the right team...

A transfer for the ages whoever can nail it, hence Minos astronomical demands. He knows what he has and he’ll get it....from us? Can’t see it but regardless, this lad will be talked about as one of the great goal scorers in the next decade!

Agreed. We can dream, but that's all it ever will be as long as other clubs are ready to pay more in wages etc than we will.
He's Real Madrid bound, probably via the rags, given that they are always looking to get one over on us.
City don't do auctions.
