Just my opinion but when Pep said that I thought we won't be back in for him, it was the way he said it.Kane is absolutely worth it, you only had to see his brilliant presence of mind to try and chip the goalkeeper from the halfway line against Villa at the weekend.

Kane would be exactly what we need, which is why Pep prioritised him over Haaland.
Kane is akin to De Bruyne at present. Form is temporary, but class is permanent.
I can only hope that City and Spurs can try and revisit it in January, because I think he remains the most realistic and obtainable top class striker we can attract.
Mbappe wanted out of psg well before Messi signed. If Mbappe goes to Madrid next summer which seems like a certainty, then expect psg to throw the kitchen sink at Haaland and his reps, he can go there for 3 or 4 years then get another big move in his prime.I don't think either halaand not mbappe would want to be in the same team together. No it isn't, because there isn't a top club in the world that you know who will be manager 2 years down the line.The first question any top top player asks next season, is who will be the manager the season after. Signing up for 5 years not knowing who the manager is will be interesting. This could have a bearing.
