Dortmund still holds his registration. No different to the Kane situation. He is more valuable to them now rather than cashing in mid seasonAnd Erling an even bigger one

I agree with this, and your edit to your previous post :-)Dortmund still holds his registration. No different to the Kane situation. He is more valuable to them now rather than cashing in mid season

Champions League qualifaction is more important to them. Better off keeping their better players short term and achieving their targets, than having the cash and do nothing with it for 6 months and missing out completelySurely if your Dortmund you'd be content to move Haaland on in January for a little extra money and thus ensure he doesn't become Lewandowski 2.0

Also challenge for the Bundesliga title as well. He is still valuable to Dortmund now, regardless of what they might get mid season.
- Try and win the German Cup
- Qualify for Champions League and go as far as we can in it
- Keep Erling playing in and promoting the Bundesliga
Sterling is leaving, Mahrez, 31 in February and into the final two years of his deal, Bernardo future still unclear.
City are preparing the decks, which is why we felt we had to move for Grealish this summer.
I dont think its quite that simple. Haaland has untold extra fee's plus MASSIVE wages. Its a deal which has massive implications not only now on the squad(although it shouldn't because haaland does what our players evidently struggle to), but upon his very first renewal too.I understand all of that. Still think that if we believe Grealish for £100m is fair but Haaland for £150m is too much, something is seriously wrong with our decision-making process.
Well we know there isn’t much wrong with our decision making, so it’s safe to assume Haaland wasn’t just £150 mill, and that’s pretty much backed up by chelsea dropping interest and going for Lukaku.I understand all of that. There's rumours that the release clause can be activated in January
