what do you mean?
I referring to Haaland staying so Dortmund chances in Bundesliga to stay in top 4 is still higher. As you can see dortmund this season has been terrible with and without Haaland, so they need to keep all of their advantage like Haaland to keep them stay afloat in League.
Terrible? they are a point behind Bayern and 7 clear of a team looking to get into the top 4.
Early days, and they can slip without their star player, but the micky mouse league is certainly mouseier this season. With him in it, they might even challenge for top spot close to the end, before finally missing out.
I don't see a January move happening. Nobody benefits that much from rushing it. We would probably benefit the most, but at a cost and added complexity of having to negotiate with Dortmund.
I can see him being happy to wait till the summer when he can pick his right move, at a club he is settled at and can work on his recovery, while potentially even one last shot at challenging for the title there.
I can see Dortmund, who will already make a significant profit on him, not needing to worry about an extra 30m and easily demanding more. Nothing in it for them to rush to find a replacement, having already replaced Sancho with Malen, and they can come across to the fans that they are focused on challenging tlrather than being a sellibg club.
I can see us holding off till the release clause takes one side (Dortmund) out the game, and they can take the time to secure either Haaland or an alternative. Rather than trying to haggle with them, eventhough an extra 30m here or there coild be the difference between securing the player in january or battling others in the summer. Particularly if they have any indication of his intention or chances of landing him.
