Haaland or Martinez would bag a hatful in our team every season
Could we tap him up given his contract expires in a year and offer Inter a loan with an option to buy for 2 crates of virgin olive oil and 3 tonnes of spaghetti. It’s how they would do it.Haaland or Martinez would bag a hatful in our team every season
He's a businessman comparing a client to a client. They are nothing alike in anything other than height and strength.
Haaland is a very one footed, has explosive pace and only really uses his strength to hold off challenges when carrying the ball.
Ibra is 2 footed, never had pace so built his game around mixing strength and skills hence his longevity.
They would compliment each other very well in a 2 striker system due to how different they are. Like a juiced up version of Heskey and Michael Owen
Raiola is an agent, not a coach. Being an agent does not make you a great coach who 'knows' his clients. You wouldn't ever hear me praising someone like Raiola but you cannot argue that few know the two players (Ibra & Haaland) better than their agent
And no, there is no similarity between Erling and Hardy or Shearer in my opinion - of course, goals are the measuring stick but the topic was about who the player compares favorably to. I see Haaland as skilled but a box poacher, clinical but not a player that scores from anywhere like say Shearer
This Barca poster is on multiple threads either having a dig at city or attempting to bait blues with his writing style that suggests he is not a wum. You will get no sense out of him. He hates city just as much as the Rags/Scousers and the rest of his pals at g14.Raiola is an agent, not a coach. Being an agent does not make you a great coach who 'knows' his clients.
Are you seriously saying that you've never seen Haaland score from outside of the box? Have you ever actually watched him?
I find it quite amusing that you of all people manage to write the name of a great comedian by mistake. Your subconscious speaking up maybe?
Haaland ia 6'4 yet wins just 44% of his headers and has scored 2 headers for Dortmund/Norway. Ibrahimovic wins 67% of his and is scoring headers vs Koulibaly from the edge of the box and has 3 this season alone. He's also a far better header than Zlatan has ever been.
You chat so much shit. Don’t change though, I kind of like reading it.There are many ways to compare, there is no one who has watched Ibra consistently that would say he is good at headers - not sure I have seen a worse big man at headers than Zlatan. His percentage may be better but I guarantee the sample size skews the picture
Shearer was not a box poacher and neither was Ibra but I was simply referring to a player that most favorably compares to Haaland as no two players are identical. What cannot be argued however is that there is little that Shearer or Vardy share with Erling apart from scoring goals
