What I don’t understand is why an article like this: https://talksport.com/football/556089/eden-hazard-salary-real-madrid-paid-chelsea/ talks about Hazard making £188k AFTER TAX. This makes it seem like the 400k number for him is quid.
Couldn't tell you, £188k a week after tax isn't too shabby and no way he was clearing that at Chelsea.
Madrid will have also kept his basic wage down by handing him an outrageous signing on fee.
Kev is our top earner on £385k a week but he will have to manage on about £140k a week once his tax and National Insurance take their huge piece.
