-Bothers me that Pep will almost undoubtedly rotate Stones in when Laporte probably runs more at cool down sessions. On top of just not letting Dias get any sort of real rhythm with Laporte it also forces Dias to play on the left side. I understand Pep needs to keep players happy, but damn..

The fact Stones was 10x the CB Laporte was last season and he and Dias formed a strong partnership with Dias playing,
oddly enough, at LCB.

There was a reason Laporte chucked his toys out of the pram in the summer.

Really can’t see it. I also think City/Pep would prefer to wait until the summer. Pep is loyal to his players; we buy Haaland and he pretty much has to start. Not sure Pep would do that mid season when we have a very settled team/squad that is performing very well.

Maybe Pep will wait until the summer, but I disagree about him having to start. No one tells Pep who starts, if he wants to introduce Haaland slowly he will introduce him slowly.
