Not sure. We pretty much controlled all our CL games last year including against Dortmund & PSG. Yes they had some decent spells in both ties but that will always happen when the opposition is so strong. The only time we didn’t have control was in the final and we all know what happened in that game.
no not all they had moments as well, on another night if they had a different luck the tie would have changed that is when we need a decisive striker in the CL

I personally would see us scoring more goals. There have been many games where the ball has ended up with someone in front of goal, who is not as clinical as Haaland, and we have squandered chances left, right and centre.

Up until mid December, we were languishing behind both Chelsea and Liverpool on goal difference, that was until we scored seventeen in three games to take us above them.

I think having a clinical striker will give us another string to our bow, our false nine set up is immense, but we can have a change in formation to improve us.

Agree. A clinical striker with height is a game changer because it transforms the way opposition have to defend against us. The low block is way less effective when there's someone who has a higher chance of getting on the end of high crosses in the box. It'll be interesting to see how things change if we get him or Vlahovic.

And you don’t think that could be the case if we had a top striker in the team? You think we would just stroll through the competition and win it?
