Do you mind sharing the reasoning behind this opinion?

It's not that complicated. Most transfer rumors have a low probability of actually happening, and rumors surrounding big players are especially likely to be bullshit. Guess no on every one of them (unless there's a really good reason otherwise) and you too will be ITK before you know it.
