Erling Haaland

My prediction is that there'll be one or two posters who claim to know it's done but we all have to wait until the summer for confirmation about it because reasons.
Not sure. It’s been made known from reliable personalities (TH and others) that City were only to move for him if we had the right assurances. We will not allow this to go to a summer circus IMO.

Normally it’s not something we’d want in the public sphere before the season is over, but I doubt an agreement of this magnitude could possibly be kept under wraps.

Think the football world will know where Haaland is going by the end of March, whether City or elsewhere.

He was managing Bayern at the time. His sabbatical was the 2012-13 season

They have seen in 12/13 that it did not influence that group of players when the change of manager was announced that early.

There is other groups of players where it does - we have seen that at other clubs.

Similar is the early announcement of the transfer of a player. In difference to Götze Lewandowski was not seen as special Dortmund player - it always was obvious that he will leave and that he would leave to Bayern was more than an open rumour so announcing it early just was a confirmation. But you never know how the fans react towards the player especially if a lot are hoping a player will stay.

Seen separate reports of Haaland giving his decision to Dortmund this Friday, and ‘Team Haaland’ meeting with City on Sunday/Monday.

Both from various ‘non-trusted’ sources, but those dates would add up.

Next week or so might be interesting, I dare say?
Surely it would make more sense to speak to City and get the terms on offer before meeting with Dortmund to give them his decision?
