Erling Haaland

We had these stories from Madrid press at the start of January. Then they changed position and said he didn't want RM. Now they say he wants RM again.

It's almost like they recycle the stories in rotation to get website traffic.
I agree , though the increase in chatter about Alvarez, Felix and Vlahovic, possibly we are moving away from Haalnad. If as @tolmie's hairdoo said about us wanting a commitment this month from him is correct.

He's the one player I want above all others, I truly believe he'd transform us into the greatest club side England has ever seen. but it's delusional to think Haaland would discount Madrid offhand and see us as his only option. Madrid are the most prestigious club in world football; I love City with every fibre but that's a truth I and every other City fan should be comfortable with. And they're not slipping into obscurity, they are still winning trophies. If we continue on our trajectory, we will one day have that allure and aura.

Irrespective of the rumour mill, I believe Haaland has whittled his options down to Madrid and ourselves. We play a brand of football that, in my opinion, is unparalleled at this moment. We have the best manager of his generation. And there's the romanticism of his family ties with City. But the club will have to offer a wage commensurate with his ability and current standing; he's already, in my not outrageous opinion, the best striker in the world before the age of 22. If we only offer parity or, heaven forbid, less than Madrid are offering, then we don't stand a chance. It's as simple as that.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks as Haaland's agent Mino Raiola has been on ICU after a heart procedure. Probably out soon but he will need rest for a month or so. I know he has an organisation behind him but interesting all the same.

I know this may be old hat,but just watched a YouTube vid of interview with Bernardo (sounds a great fella) included his run around of the entire Dippers team at their place, anyway was obviously asked to name good players around Europe, and didn't mention Haaland, therefore I think he must be nailed on to come to us, possibly ,maybe ,perhaps,or am I overthinking this?

I would like to see Alvarez getting in first 11 with pep conquering a few more pl titles and UCL just for people to realize how quality system has been created in the club under pep and txiki. We all this haaland&real m. love saga, I would like we succeed without him and his piggy agent.

IF the press rumours are true abut Erling preferring RM,Vlahovic going to Juve,Mbappe may stay at PSG who do we realistically go for ? Please please not Harry. Felix seems to be a slightly better version of Jesus. Give Liam a chance if title sewn up early?
Julian Alverez? (South American Player of the Year 2021)

For all those following, scored a goal…good movement and positioning for a tap. Just went down with an injury to his knee. Walking gingerly but hasn’t been taken off.

One thing I’ve noticed about Vlahovic, doesn’t seem like he’s had a single injury in his professional career (at least according to transfermarkt).
