Serious question Ray, why do you think that Haaland is overhyped when he scores consistently for one of Germany’s top 3
iirc Paco Alcacer and Michy Batshuayi also scored consistently for Dortmund

If he will be too expensive for you - he is too expensive for Bayern... - But as much I know he has a fixed transfer sum which makes him affordable for the top clubs. We wont go for him because:
1.) he is too expensive for us and we prefer to spend same amount divided on two players who wont be good enough for improving the starting eleven
2.) the pride we have as we are scared to deal with Raiola
One thing is sure, he wont be at Dortmund too long, can see Bayern going for him and replacing Lewandowski for next 7-8 years with him scoring 25 every season in league and many more in cups...
Also I hope does not end up at one of our PL rivals.
Delap has one start under his belt and you seriously rate him as good as Haaland?!?!?! - he is nowhere near at present - doesnt have the raw pace of Haaland for starters (and I doubt he ever will as that is something you can only train so much)Rubbish. We had already equally talented players in the academy already.

And Haaland will transfer in 2021 - not 2023 when Bayern might need a Lewy replacement.
Haaland will go to the EPL (that was always where he wanted to go to) - or Real.
He could go to utd before us - has a previous relationship with OGS that might tip the balance in their favour unfortunately
Wouldnt surprise me if Madrid went for him as well (or Mbappe)
NOOOOO. Save our Ole!I don't think the connection may matter soon, because the way they are going, he may be sacked soon.

It’s not a choice we can have both
He said equally talented, not as good. There is a subtle difference, to my mind anyway.Delap has one start under his belt and you seriously rate him as good as Haaland?!?!?! - he is nowhere near at present - doesnt have the raw pace of Haaland for starters (and I doubt he ever will as that is something you can only train so much)
Delap has a long way to go yet
Who are the others you think are as talented?
Are will still spending Sane money.

Interesting - are you talking about potential then?
Haaland is already well advanced in terms of potential - he is already reaching certain levels...of course Delap is younger and hasnt had the opportunites yet to reach whatever potential he has.....
They have some similar qualities - both big and strong for starters...Delap can clearly finish as well and that goes for Haaland obviously
Delap seems to lack Haalands pace and mobility
Or will get the opportunity to. Haaland is so good because he had the chance to prove himself in the Austrian league, then the Champions League, and then the German league at a team that plays youth. Hopefully we trust Delap a bit more, but let's be honest, it takes a special 17 year old to lead the line for a top Premier League club.Delap doesn't lack anything.
It's just down to whether he can put it together at senior level.
