Erling Haaland

So from what I read there is a 63m release clause which BVB will get, but the dad and the agent want 15-20m each, which is a side deal and conditional upon Haaland signing. And thats not even factoring into account the 500k a week wages.

Thats spending power right their. I still remember when Rio Feridnands 30m move to from Leeds to Man United was groundbreaking. But in 2022, thats the agents cut for 'brokering' the deal. New World
Never take figures quoted in the press as gospel. Lots on here have a better idea of the wages and it's not 500k.

Well done yesterday - thanks for the laughs. Although your boys could have encroached at the penalty so we could have watched Bruno miss again.

The old chap who was sat next to me yesterday at the match, said his daughter had the door opened for her at a medical unit in Wilmslow the other day. She said he was massive, so make of this what you wish. The guy must be in his 70’s and had no need to make this up.
Without mentioning Haaland’s name it sounds like she just met a random very large gentleman and her dads just bragging about it haha

Latest from Marca. (cough!)

Mbappe.

Real Madrid are not changing their plans because of rumours or supposed millionaire requests for Kylian Mbappe. The job to sign him is done and they think it is very close to being completed.

Everything they had to talk about has already been done and they do not see any sign to suggest that it is not going to go through

Real Madrid have no news of all these requests or offers that the Frenchman receives almost daily, or that at least appear in the media.

'Years'? See article below.

Haaland.

Haaland is not ruled out

Regarding Haaland, Los Blancos have not moved in recent days. They know that he has not yet committed to Manchester City and, as has been the case for weeks, they have been waiting for the chance to take a closer look at the situation.

The English team, who have been desperately looking for a centre-forward for years, are pushing hard for the Norwegian, but there is still no definitive decision and Real Madrid have not ruled out the deal. They are waiting in the wings.

No offence mate, but your men spent £72m on Pepe and decided to pay Ozil and Aubemeyang more than £350k a week.

And we learnt our lesson. Never again will we pay such an exuberant fee for a single player. We have more success via giving the academy lads a run and making more modest signings. The Pepe signing was us trying to be something we are not. As for PEA wages, thats the going rate or the top tier players. Martinelli and Saka will be offered a 200k a week contract at the seasons end. No one can avoid paying top wages if you want to keep your best players. As Liverpool will find out the hard way if they dont meet Salah's 400k a week demands.

63m for Haaland is a steal. But the side deals for the dad and agent are poor form. Especially the agent, fucking leeches of the game.

Jesus, I thought he'd at least have been wearing his trousers and pants

Hang on. So all those media reports from January about you being in for Vlahovic were BS?

They are but it’s not new.

City have lost out on a few big signings (Eden Hazard being one), for refusing to pay big agents fees out of principle.

It’s been going on for 10 years+ at all top clubs with cash to spend.
