Can we get someone in the runway? Should be landing in an hour or so!
I'm within sight of the runway at the Barton Aerodrome.

Well that was a long weekend. I'd asked the suit in the control tower if anything was landing on Saturday afternoon. There wasn't, so I managed to make the Watford match. When I returned to the Aerodrome, my tent and belongings had been packed up and left on the side of Liverpool Road. Lucky that none of the Irlam mob passed - they'd have had a field day with my belongings.

Upon my return, I marched straight to the control tower and demanded answers. The suit mentioned something about a restraining order but I explained that it wouldn't be necessary as I was on planning to stay until the big Norwegian lad arrived. We've come to an understanding. I can stay in my tent in the grounds of the Aerodrome but have had to promise not to cross the runway on my way to the control tower three times a day for flight schedules. The suit is going to pop to my tent twice a day to give me updates.

He's told me that something is due in around tea time tonight from the south of France so I'm leaving the camping grill where it is and have ordered a takeaway - doner meat and pineapple pizza with a bag of chips. This could be announced by the weekend folks. I've given @tolmie's hairdoo my ITK news and you can expect one of his YouTube videos in the coming hours. Personally, I've recommended "Norwegian Wood" by the Beatles because I've been playing wigwams in my tent since I heard about this flight at 9:15 this morning.

@kippaxwarrior did my shopping last week and dropped me three more boxes of Heinekens in yesterday. I'll walk to Lidl tomorrow for supplies. I might treat myself to some bratwurst and do them for tea before the Real match tomorrow.

Over and out for now...

Lad you’re at the wrong airport!!

Lad - every single one of our major signings have arrived at Barton Aerodrome. Robinho, KDB, Ederson, Glauber Berti...

Gabriel Jesus flew straight from Afonso Pena International Airport to the Aerodrome and was immediately impressed by the Barton Aquaduct. It was this that got the deal over the line if you believe what Aircraft Control told me at the time.

Only Carlos Tevez didn't fly in out of all our foreign signings. Carlito took the 554 from Trafford into the city centre and was met on St. Peter's Square by Garry Cook.
