Guys like Nedum, Nicol and Burley are the reason this is the only football discussion show I watch. They just filter through the cliche nonsense and talk like people who know the game.

What the US broadcasters do is simple. They broadcast the game and then talk honestly about it. The UK broadcasters are so screwed up with bias and pampering to the red tops they produce car crash TV.

For English football I'd agree with that. As a big NBA fan, their national media coverage is worse than ours is for football. It's not even bad punditry, it's just contrarian yelling.
