I think the reduced amount the fee is, is based on them still owing us for Sancho moving to the rags. It’s probably been deducted.
I’m also not convinced we’ll announce he’s signed today, Dortmund will probably announce we have agreed a deal with them and they’ve given us permission to chat to him. I think we’ll then see the next few days playing out like a normal transfer negotiation (it’ll be sorted out already I’ve no doubt). I just don’t see us doing it before we have won the league.
maybe if the dippers slip up tonight (I highly doubt it) and we win tomorrow, then 6pts clear with 6 to play for we may officially confirm it.
Also, would we want to demotivate the likes of Sterling, Jesus etc with us needing wins and points to confirm the title?
