Delap also has the 'everything else' to go with the build, plus the workrate & attitude.

There is basically nothing, he lacks.

It's purely down to how he translates it to senior football.

I hope you are right as it is quite a step up and could save us money in buying Erland Haaland

He was on par with Foden in terms of skill set but as you said he didn't want to stick around.
Brah Diaz was good and will have a decent career somewhere but he was never at Foden’s level. Nowhere near. Phil was marked out as an elite player by every youth coach in Europe when he was 14/15

A big challenge now is how we handle his career. We have fucked up so many prospects with terrible loan club decisions. For an elite club our youth coaches are absolutely fucking pitiful. We actually pay some twat 70k a year to place lads on loan and that twat has failed time after time

well you're wrong and it 's quite clear. He's a 10 goal a season player and that's it he'll never be anything else he doesn't have the skill, pace or desire to do it. Greenwood on the other looks more like a 20 goal season person unfortunately

Oooooerrrr “well you’re wrong”...said in a 6-year old voice!!
It’s a fkin forum for debates n opinions

I disagree he is equally as talented as Phil the only difference is Brahim Diaz has picked a club that was stacked up in his position already and has missed a season because of it. Milan is not a bad club to kickstart his career.

Diaz was quality. During pre season in 17/18 he was a real standout.

Eh, that's not really true. Barcelona had tried to sign Brahim twice before we paid close to £3m (in 2013 money) to sign him out of Malaga as a 14 year old. He was a bonafide wonderkid no matter how you measure it. The "new Messi", etc.

Sorry pal, accept your opinion but Foden was already rated way above him by international scouts and coaches. Way way above. Brahim had mad close control skills but ha a fatal lack of acceleration. Also a main difference was everyone knew Phil was a blue so everyone knew he was unobtainable The best Spanish kids always want to go home in the end. Pointless signing them imo
