They will have to sell, full stop.

Dortmund have zero leverage. Haaland will tell them which club he is joining and that will be that.

No club, certainly not Dortmund, can afford to turn down a massive premium when the other choice is a massive hit.

As I have said before, perfect storm in so many ways.

They can still refuse to sell. Or claim to refuse to sell. They'd be silly to, but they still get 75m the following year, and any club will know they still need to pay 75m. So they can push the asking price to what they see.
It is like a player in the last year of his contract, except instead of getti g him for free a club gets him for 75m. The year before though, they can ask for more, including not selling.

obviously, they Will sell. But the dance has to happen first.

I don't doubt his Bayern bits, but he's simply chancing it because Dortmund also happen to be a German club, so wants be seen across it.

Read his tweets again - a lot of are rhetorical questions, laden with plenty of "I don't think", "Maybe", "Ifs" and "it is difficult".

Must try harder.
Yep. As I said, outside of what Bayern feed him (he's one of their pets), he's a kfa chancer.

The standard of football journalism and the media in general over here in Germany is awful nowadays. Main reason I'm out of it at the end of the month.:-)

It is £65m and that's a big drop on £90-£100m, certainly with so much financial uncertainty in a pandemic.

Agree, a dance has to be performed, but it will just be for the peanut gallery and City haters.

I thought Alaba didnt want to join us and was only going for Madrid?

Good luck pal, if you have been in the business any length of time, you can always smell the bullshit from those who just don't want to simply admit they aren't across it.
