Erling Haaland

I’m just going by old patterns here. I won’t “be disappointed” (not sure what you meant...) either way — I hope he has a say in whatever the club decides for his near future.
I mean disappointed as it seems you wish for two strikers to arrive and that’s not happening.

We lose Kun. We buy one striker and we promote Delap. We 100% will not be buying two strikers.

then what if haaland gets injured ? delap is not ready or good enough to lead the line at his young age
sterling or jesus are not strikers and you will get games like yesterday when the fluff chance after chance and city lose or go out of europe

I couldn't help wondering yesterday what would have happened or what would have happened in any of the games we have lost after trailing 1 - 0 at half time if Haaland had been in the opposition's penalty box ...

And today we're getting more fairy stories about his agent making him the first £1 million a week player. That might happen before he retires but not this time. Every club has suffered a major financial hit and it will take time to come round. This includes Dortmund, who certainly won't pay him so much to stay! It also includes Barca who appear to be out of the equation for a whole load of reasons and Real who have a different ambition for the summer. So maybe the outlook still looks bright for City ... bright blue skies as we might say.

its crazy the little amount of time city players get in the box ? its a zone that should be packed when you have players like KDB or foden ? yesterday left me shouting like crazy every time we got down both sides of the box only for the player to turn and pass it back. i think we crossed it twice cancelo and mendy

Do we remember when Pep was willing to let Sterling go to Arsenal in exchange for Sanchez?

Seems an age ago now, but think Raheem refused it.

don't get me wrong i like sterling
won us many many big games but pep is asking him to be a main striker and score over 20 goals a season its never going to happen. sterling job should be out wide and cut in and score 10 to 15 goals a season that's it

pep systems or the false 9 does not suit sterling or jesus because they have to take a bigger percentage of the chances they miss ? because yesterday was like city of old wasted chances and got punished. you can not do that when your open at the back. even if the other teams only got 10 men they get the ball back every time we miss and they will find a chance and score

if we had a fully fit aguero or haaland or kane we win that game 4 or 5 nil easy. we even would have had time to take the striker off and rest him because the game would have been over at 3.0 before halftime
