The transfer window hasn’t even opened yet. This doesn’t mean it has to drag on forever.Whilst conversations are out of our control, the fact the player is receptive enough to hear Chelsea out, as Mino also was with Barca and Real, the writing is clear enough, Erling isn't closed off to anyone.

I agree with City’s policy and despite not going overboard on any player they still have a world class squad.

We can afford to bid as much as any team, but rightly or wrongly I believe a maximum figure is the plimsoll line.
