Erling Haaland

Or will get the opportunity to. Haaland is so good because he had the chance to prove himself in the Austrian league, then the Champions League, and then the German league at a team that plays youth. Hopefully we trust Delap a bit more, but let's be honest, it takes a special 17 year old to lead the line for a top Premier League club.

Just getting on the pitch here & there should be enough for now. If we actually practice it, getting balls into him, could be the difference in games where we might drop points. Him in the box with Aguero etc lurking nearby, would give teams a whole new nightmare if worked on.

I think it would be the same with Haaland too. Drop the football snobbery & accept that proper cfs & proper cbs, power, pace, etc can have a place in a quality football team. The more variety the better.

Delap doesn't lack anything.

It's just down to whether he can put it together at senior level.
Well lets see if you are right. I dont doubt he could be a good player, but in football you see so many promising talents come in, do well initially and then fade away....iheanacho althouhh a good playee never reached tte heights some were predicting

Which is why im questioning the suggestion that he is comparable to haaland.....this is pressumption at best, blinkered at worst

He isn't. I replied to the suggestion of him 'lacking' this & that.

He lacks absolutely nothing. He now has to translate that to playing adult football.

Haaland was playing for Mooseshaggene B team at the same stage

I said he lacks the pace and mobility of Haaland

regardless of where Haaland was at present he is well ahead of Delap in terms of development and has at least one natural attribute that Delap may not have (pace)

Any chance he drops his agent? If I learned anything from the Koulibaly saga, it's that we take our grudges seriously. And Raoila makes ADL look like an angel.

“The truth is we never were in negotiations with his club at all about him,” Berrada reveals. “It was very interesting to see the amount of noise that was coming out from certain media outlets and social media. I smiled because there were certain instances where people were reporting that the deal was agreed, done, about to happen, he was going to be announced in a few days, when we were never in touch at all with Napoli about him.

That quote was from Omar Berrada’s Athletic interview. Took that off a poster in the Messi thread.

Just wondering if you had inside info with regards to your comment about City and the KK transfer saga. Did Omar just say all that to save face?
