Not surprised.

The dance moves are always the same.

There was no way they'd ask for anything less, and if he goes I would bet it wont be for less than €120m.

Worth it though.
Just Dortmund throwing numbers out, 1st time they've said he can go for a fee

All playing out now, City have a figure & Dortmund playing it to the press & fans

This could be happening & both camps will want it boxing off before Euros imo, €100m in 1 payment

Dortmund get €80m profit & City get 1 hell of a player

Could even throw in the 15% Sancho deal???

Just out of interest what more does he need to do to be 'proven' in your eyes?
He is having a very good first full season in the Bundesliga but there is still plenty of room for improvement in his overall game. There are plenty flaws in Haaland's game would get exposed in our set up.

Whether they can or can't afford it, think the raggies are going to try and get involved in this one, they'd be stupid not to. They'll try and sell him on the 'youre the missing piece of the puzzle' bollocks.

No one will pay that. Call their bluff like Utd did with Sancho. If they don’t make chumps league they will do what Benfica did with Dias.
Agree, but think the fly in the ointment here is the agent. He'll want to instigate a bidding war that lasts until the end of the summer window, whereas we tend to do buisness in advance / early, and leave the pondlife to bid against the scum.

IF we are lucky enough to get him Pep would work on any flaws on the training pitch whilst Haaland bags 35-40 a season. Even if he didn’t improve his all round game, if he hits them numbers and wins big champions league games through being clinical and not bottling big chances I honestly don’t think even Pep would give a fuck.

No real guarantees that would happen. Haaland hasn't come across many teams that have completely parked the bus for starters. There are a few teams in the Premier League who loves to do that.

I really like his instinctive movement. That’s the element that can’t be taught to a striker.
He has it in spades.

Dortmund getting in champs league could prove a prob? that amount of money they’ll get would surely mean they don’t need to sell both or either of their “superstars’??...

6 of their last 9 games will be against teams in the top 8 of the Bundesliga. For Frankfurt it's 4.

Frankfurt now out of Europe and Dortmund have CL Quarter Finals too, so fingers crossed they don't pull it back.

When we named a similar price for Sane, that wasit everyone was claiming it was a certainty that he was going (and for just over half the the amount we were wanting too).

A lot can still happen, and there is a long way to go. But following the formula now, for sure.

Dortmund know how to sell their players and get what they want for them. Plus the agent knows what he is doing. This is not one to do a cat and mouse drag out in the summer, i'll hope for an early deal. If indeed it is us and we are there.

edit. He could also have a belter at the Euros, which would only increase his value.

The saving grace is that release clause next summer only being €75m? Even in the normal football world if we offered €25m over that clause a proper business would say yes let alone in a pandemic world that has hit football In the last 12 months and will be at least another 12 months before revenues can grow significantly? I personally would offer the €100m and wipe the sancho clause out as I think it’s 15%? Dortmund aren’t going to get €100m for sancho now anyway so the lesser amount they take as a fee only reduces the amount we get? Get in there first, get the deal done and maybe even they might keep sancho as they won’t have to sell both!

He'll have a job, considering Norway didn't qualify.
