Erling Haaland

This forum watches Haaland twice, ignores every other game he’s ever played and decides that a 20 year old that has averaged a goal per game since 2019, and has 20 Champions League goals in 16 games, is in fact no better than (and I quote) “Andy Carroll”.

That’s the signal everyone... time for lights out. Goodnight all.

Didn’t impress. But I won’t judge him on these two games. Nor will the City staff. I hope.
But he is definitely hyped. I hope we sign him but 150mill is a joke.
You reckon Kane is preferable? (Edit. If asking prices were similar)

Did I hear it right when the commentator said he hasn't scored in over 400 minutes of football?

Obviously these things happen but maybe that and how he was pretty non existent against us is good for us as it will lower his price
Yeah, he’s just doing his bit ;-)

You’re shocked? Hehe. Learn to laugh at them.

Surprised so many are down on him.

Looks like we set up to limit him (did Dias leave his side today?) and over two legs, he played a crucial part in both Dortmund goals. Not to mention one occasion outmuscled Ruben and made him look like a schoolboy who first stepped on the pitch. There's probably a handful of people on the planet that can do that.

He's a fantastic player with his best days ahead of him. Sign him up.

Remember when Torres went to Chelsea from the dirty scummy shits.
Think Haaland may be this. Got a good record but bloody hell, seen absolutely nothing that suggests he's going to rip the pl apart
Do you watch Bundesliga or even other games they play, including CL besides our tie?

I have.

It's pretty odd to think this after 2 games in a side that actually has not been that great, missing much of a creator (also no Sancho) and have a "lame duck" manager.

He's been there most consistent player this season other than Bellingham who has blossomed, but they have been unpredictable and at times shockingly poor for the past few months.

I've seen him take some chances that are really something to behold. Goals at angles we would dream of any of our strikers other than Aguero making with any level of consistency.

He gets into great positions and if he gets service from our attacking options...as we say "forget about it."

Don't get me wrong. I actually think Kane is arguably a BETTER fit in some ways.

Haaland has now gone 7 consecutive games without a goal whilst Sancho has been out injured.

the real star is Sancho

Cant believe people in here saying they dont want him over 1 fucken game.

guess we should have sold Aguero/DAvid Silva/Toure after 1 bad game.

Did you guys already forget the 1st leg where he pushed over Dias like a little bitch and almost scored? The kids a 30+ goal machine every season and he is only 20. Look at how we look at Foden. Thats how you should look at Haaland. Wed be stupid not to want him.

Anyone that is having doubts after that game is either crazy or stupid. Every time he touched the ball, whether it be link up through feet or head he found a player. I literally shit myself every time he got the ball. The man is a machine. It just so happens that Dias was absolutely monumental tonight. We have found ourselves a generational talent in defense. Now lets get one up top!

This kid will be insane in our team. Imagine all the chances he will get. And he has shown a really nice ability to bring his teammates into play.

And he is only 20...

No one wants to pay what Raiola & Dortmund are asking. If they’re not careful, someone’s going to make a deal for 2022/23 season at Release Clause unless shit starts to get a bit real!

The whole point of a forum like this is that fellow supporters can swap opinions - dick heads like you are the equivalent of piss in a shared swimming pool so get yourself out and fuck off you sad dink.

Comeback when you’re mature enough to discuss opinions without resorting to abuse.
Haha, you compared Haaland to Andy Carroll, and reckon he'd be soon sussed out based on the 2 games vs City. 2 games in which he was starved of any ball, and was a lone striker. If his hold up play was poor, or if he missed a couple of good chances you might have an argument, but non of that happened vs City. As for abuse, read your own posts and the language you use.

that was a clear foul. I think Haaland is very good and will be great, i dont like that he has raiola as an agent though. Make me question his character tbh

He’s also posted fantastic stats in the Champions League at a very young age and is going to get even better. We kept him out but we have the best defence in England. Under Pep and with our midfield supplying him he could smash Aguero’s scoring record for us
there are some fucking desperate takes in this thread based on two games against one of the best teams in europe with arguably the best Defence. He still set up two goals over the tie.

hes 20 And he‘s ripping up records in germany and the CL.
