Match made in heaven
Doing his best to bring his price down.
Match made in heaven
Oh you did not have to ,but thanks anyway :)Fixed that for you.
Match made in heaven
FFS Erling does have a certain ring to it ;)Erling Haaland missed 6 clear-cut goalscoring chances against Union Berlin last night, a record in a game in Europe's top 5 leagues this season
He might aswell be wearing sky blue already the big man.
I can't believe any young player would go to Madrid while the club was being run by a deranged loon like Perez. In fact Spanish football is a good place to avoid at the moment for any ambitious player because Barca and Real are on the brink of collapse. Javier Tebas is not a good advert for La Liga either. This all pushes Haaland towards City in my view, the only obstacle of course being his crazy agent.Perez said a lot, some of it seemingly contradictory so I wouldn't put too much credence on anything he says.

Wonder if he's feeling a bit of pressure, with all the focus on him over the last few weeks.
One of the dangers with a young player is that some have a "without fear" bonus when they break through, and feel invincible. As they get older, the pressure can build, and they start overthinking chances.
Clearly Haaland is starting from an exceptional high bar, and also has a reputation as a very quick learner/improver, but it'll be interesting to see how he reacts to arguably the first sign in his career that he's a mere mortal.
Well hes not going to be at Dortmund in 12mths never mind two season away.I wouldn't mind this being a after next season kind of buy, when his price comes down to a more reasonable amount.
The numbers lately have been doing my head in, they have been massive and unsustainable for a while, but it's only these past few weeks been kicking in.
I have no problem with Jesus, Ferran, and Delap as our options up top next season, with Palmer rotating with Mahrez on the right.
That's still good depth. We still have the option of Phil, Kev or Bernardo as a false 9 on top of that...
The amount of money it would take to get him this season I feel would be insane, based on reports we've seen.Well hes not going to be at Dortmund in 12mths never mind two season away.
His price is as sustainable as Aguero was at 40m 10years ago.
If not Haaland then we buy someone else, not a chance Pep goes into next year with Jesus and no other striker, simply cannot afford it.
Not necessarily, jesus can play on either wing or as the false 9, as can many of our squad. It has been mentioned on here that pep's latest tactical evolution could well be strikerlessIf not Haaland then we buy someone else, not a chance Pep goes into next year with Jesus and no other striker, simply cannot afford it.
Press reports and fact are very different to what this deal will actually cost. The amount of money it would take to get him this season I feel would be insane, based on reports we've seen.
If its someone else at a cheaper price with high potential then sure I'm okay with that, but I also like the option of using what we have, Giving Ferran more chances as a striker since he's impressed well there, dipping into the academy and giving Delap a chance (probably one of the best PL2 strikers in that league), and then the season after brining him in.
That's just my mentality I guess, I prefer us using the players we have as much as possible, I think Ferran and Delap can add the required depth in that position next season.
