What I mean is that people seem fucking obsessed with his agent and how much 'extra' money they want to imagine he will cost. Like he is the only bloody player that has an agent and fees and bonuses involved.
A couple of papers have run with 'look how much whoever signs him might end up paying' clickbait, and that's now the only thing anyone cares about. And this notion that he will cost what he would have cost last year, eventhough his transfer value has halved, but with his agent pocketing the difference is one of the daftest premises on here.
If he does have high wage demands and agent fees and bonuses, it will be because he is good enough to get them. That would be the case no matter who he was or who his agent was. No top player with those numbers at that age with that high a ceiling is going for cheap and without incentive payments.
The club will decide whether its worth it. If that means paying 40m in bonuses to whoever, they will. If they think he isnt worth what they value him, that can be a fiver, they still won't part with it if they dont think it fair.

I have it on good authority now that the Haaland total dispersements to the family, including signing fee and brokers fee to his dad and Mino are £50m.
For context, Mino was paid £40m for Pogba, Mkhitaryan and Lukaku by United.
It's doable.

Raiola will want an under-the-table deal in some dodgy Cayman bank account and City will never do that so there has to be something sorted to make it happen without dropping us in the shit.
