My hunch was that it was an out of character for the club parting gift for him to try and get him over the line in the CL, but that's just me speculating. Always best to take information as a bit of fun, nothing more, especially in the early stages. As we have seen there is never a guarantee of a successful negotiation, too many variables when chasing the elite

More aggressive if the Torres deal is agreed? From what we know about Barcelona finances we'd have all of about 25€ extra in the bank and a packet of monster munch.

I think the big question is where does Alfie stand on this, we have seen some reports out of Norway, that we are the favorites, and they were the same sources that said Alfie was trying to get Erling here last summer. So I guess the question is, does Erling want to go to Madrid, or is Mino the one pushing the move to Madrid?
