I suppose the club will remain calm on this, we don't have to put out our thoughts to the press, and we don't have many media outlets that are pro-city, so no one does our spruiking on their behalf.

We can always read between the lines and believe there are better opportunities elsewhere, but really, where is it? RM already have a forward line, the rags are just f*cked, and have Ronaldo on board. Chelski have spent loads on Lukaku, and would he want to play in France with the other prima donna's? I can't see him wanting to stay in Germany to play for the German rags, and believe his Dad has a footballing path set out for him.

At City we have the best coach in the world, are ranked as one of the best European sides now, just a shame we couldn't shut the haters up last year and get that one over the line. The EPL is the best league in world football, and we are the most successful side within it over the past five years. We have the money, and the club worldwide infrastructure is amazing. The squad has no proven striker option, that he would have to compete against, so he would be the only proven striker here, unless we buy another one that is.

I read all of the above, and say it can only be us.........................but after around 50 years supporting our great side, I am not confident.
