Seems like they won't be able to finance a deal in the summer and want haaland to wait another year. This is obviously ideal for dortmund as they get to keep him for another year.

IMO this is the ideal time to press. none of our rivals for haaland can afford him, only us. we need to convince him he should move this summer and that we're the best (and only) team around.

You must think people here are dumb. I said in at least five different posts that if he wants to go to Madrid only, he will stay at Dortmund another year and move there the following season. That is literally what the tweet in Spanish that you quoted says. I can easily link to those posts of mine. You called me narcissistic for paying attention to evidence out of Madrid
 
Every possibility has been discussed. No one gives a fuck in one of the stabs in the dark was correct for a day.

I said he wouldn’t be going to Madrid this summer from the start because their plan is to have Mbappe and Benzema for the World Cup cycle. I stand by that. That is what the media and the well informed Madrid fans let be known. And I stand by that, as the tweet talks about it. Then I listened to more and started talking that for me, him staying at Dortmund another year if the only option considered is Madrid would be a perfect solution. All of this is proven by my post history. I would have no problem being wrong and admitting, but I get so much shit around here for not falling the “it’s Madrid!” narrative and paying attention to actual signs, that I have to say, “See, it’s not just me”.
 
Let’s be honest there a few clubs he could go to and we could make an argument for most
Dortmund remain
Move to Chelsea City Liverpool even Utd
Madrid or Bayern possibly a few others as well
Only time will tell like I said yesterday I hope we have a firm handle on his thoughts otherwise time to sign a forward from elsewhere
