Erling Haaland

Yeah Raiola will be in plenty of places but when Twitter is full of photos of him sat next to Alf in Barcelona, Madrid and so on. What is that, just them two sharing a cab to save some money?

This whole thing is a circus, every day there are reports about X, Y and Z.

If Haaland wanted to be here we would know by now. How hard is the decision seriously, the fact it seems he is even contemplating a new contract from Dortmund just to hang on for Real is ridiculous.
Surely a few trips around the best leagues in europe will serve to maximise what they get for him in wages and extra's no? Makes perfect sense to me and i'm not even an agent.

Has he no consideration that some might consider that a circus and be offended by it. Has he no decency!

We through this exact same thing last year.

Some people keep their head down. Others, less so.

What it means to me is... err. Ego. Enjoys being centre of attention. And that Raiola is very... 'busy'.

Put it this way, if this was a poker table, it would be enough to make me cough.

I personally think Haaland himself will be detached from most of it. Players put much faith in the agent it seems and they then do the "circus" thing. Chances are Raiola himself doesn't even have a final answer as to where haaland wants to go...or even if he does he will STILL visit different leagues to ramp up the financials.

Standard scumbag agent fare really.

I'm sure in the 2k pages someone will have mentioned the managers contract.
Expires 2023 - and comments suggest he won't extend. We'll move forward as a club at that point but some players will be put off not knowing what comes next
If Haaland is looking at the other options though, would you rather a season with Pep (If he gets Haaland, I would be floored if he left btw) otherwise you are looking at Ancelotti, Xavi, Ralf and ?
I don't think they are better options and could be sacked at any moment.

A year with pep, who may or may not extend (may well), is still better than a year with someone else and the no pep thereafter.

I think a deal of this magnitude has to be right in all departments.

I haven't seen him play a full 90 minutes but would be suit Pep's vision of a striker in terms of pressing?

In my humble opinion the club tend to stay away from players with an aota of bigger than their boots mentality.

From what I gather there hasn't been any suggestion that we our his first choice. Again I think the club tends to favour those who are 100 percent behind paying for us. Perhaps he is a Madrid fan boy.

Like others have said I'm sure the club will already know how the land lies.

I know he has been a member of City Facebook fan group in the past. I don't understand why he is doing this now. La Liga is a terrible league.

Yes. He presses and he does it well. He’s a bully both defensively and offensively. He can play with his back to goal, and he can punch through the channels to attack the space ahead of him. He’s also 6 foot 4, so you know, KDB crosses. He’s not quite the complete player yet, but at 21 years old that’s understandable.

In reality, there’s been no real suggestion as to where he wants to go. No reliable indicators. I’m sure the club knows as you say, but there’ll still be things to thrash out like Pep’s future, possible replacements, the club’s roadmap, our intentions regarding any other striking targets, meeting and/or negotiating their financial demands etc etc.

Even if Little Alf wants City, there’s still plenty negotiation to be done. I suspect we’ll start hearing concrete news in January after Raiola’s meetings in MCR.
