I hope Gus is right
Personally, this is why I’m still fairly optimistic. If we didn’t have the right progress with the ‘Team Haaland’ and they really were also balls deep with Madrid, I’m not sure we’d still be in the ‘race’. And the club is never shy to make it known when we’ve pulled out.If they entertain alternative clubs alongside us too deep beyond the early stages of negotiations - we judge them as ‘not the right fit/not committed enough for City’ and move on.
Love? What's with the L mentality here? He's 100% coming to City

You talked as if I hadn’t lived through the same transfer fails as you…Don’t think I was too what?
Not on here you haven’t….You talked as if I hadn’t lived through the same transfer fails as you…
Correct… but elsewhere, yesNot on here you haven’t….
Can’t help but feel if it truly was done, we’d know - whether unofficially or officially.I'm guessing the deal is already done, and I'm also guessing that City are happy that Raiola continues to link every club he can to his signature. I hope we sign the lad like most of us but City are rather good at keeping their cards close to their chest nowadays, and i like us doing business that way.
It’d leak from the Madrid end too.I believe if it is done then we should start to hear something about in the next few days. Imagine the preparation for an announcement of such a big signing, how many people involved.
