Really? He’s reportedly on £410k per week at the mo, I’m sure PSG have offered him a substantial pay rise, so what makes you think he’ll be getting less at Madrid, who have been paying £650k per week?

Not saying you’re wrong btw as you’re guessing, as I am, just don’t understand why you’d guess he’d get less than 500k per week at Real?

The release clause will presumably be higher than his current one & even if it’s not & it’s exactly the same, we’ll still make profit from an accountancy perspective if I understand correctly how transfers have a book value across the length of the contract

Maybe one of our financial experts could shed more light on it for you pal, but I don’t think it’s an issue at all

My friend, it’s never the vehicle and always the journalist. That’s how you can laugh at Marca — you see who’s writing their articles and laugh at their history. I actually went on their (SkySport DE) website. They have an article at the top about Haaland to City that doesn’t even mention Kane. I tried to find anything about Harry Kane posted in the last few days and there is nothing there. I don’t know where CityXtra found this, I’m guessing from a third aggregator from a pundit that may have mentioner something on that channel. I’d even guess the context: probably talking about Fjortoft’s Bayern “news” from yesterday. But they have so much faith on it that they didn’t bother putting up on their website, lol. Even the context is absurd: City would make a new attempt at signing Kane in the summer and if that doesn’t work they would try Haaland. Can anyone seriously believe that? That the club would think, well, if Kane doesn’t work we could just try the biggest transfer in many years at the last minute? Not to mention that even if Kane still wanted to leave (and I don’t think he will want a move before the World Cup at this point), he would cost far more than Haaland. Or that everything you have heard even from reputable journalists that cover our club has been a farce? Where to begin?

I’m watching the Brazilian broadcast of the game and they just that Kicker received official denial of the Marca report about Watzke and Perez being in contact lol. Watzke doesn’t like his name being used around in the media

Nope, definitely not leaving for the money & I agree that PSG could potentially offer more to stay depending on their accounts & ffp

However, I’d still be extremely surprised if he gets paid less than £500k per week when Bale will be off their books having paid him £650k per week

Not that any of it really matters, but i understand why you’re guessing that he will be on less than £500k per week
