These type of players? Why pigeonhole him? Aguero came and stayed with us and he’s the greatest striker to play in England

No player thread here has ever been unanimous and so you are perfectly welcomed to parade your contrarianism. I, too, was a contrarian in the Harry Kane thread until it got me suspended there (unfairly imo, but that’s beside the point). I just think it’s absolutely silly to look at games at this point in the season, when there is zero motivation for Dortmund and his head isn’t in it anymore to judge (“if Jesus played like this…”). I don’t know if you have, but I have been in situations in my work life more than once where everyone knew I was leaving the job at the end of the month, and you could tell the environment turned on me, even if they were still affable. Less so in this last game, but in the previous ones I even felt like players at times refused to pass the ball to him (maybe Aguero would say this sounds familiar…). Now imagine in the training ground how manager, medical staff, administration and the influential players in the dressing room are treating him. It’s no surprise that with last night’s game he is now in his biggest streak in his club career without scoring, although considering games he entered in the second half. The final games of this season will be a slow walk towards the end for everybody. And by the way, if Jesus knew he would be leaving at the end of this season and we weren’t contending for any titles anymore, he would be delivering less than sensational performances and we wouldn’t care as fans because our own interest in the games would be diminished too…

I have that gut feeling too. Whether we like it or not real madrid have that attraction that we dont quite have yet.

the sensible , professional thing would be to join City.
The hollywood thing would be Real

had all the signs of a " team" preparing for "life after he's gone" performance.
There was nothing much more he could have done imo. He showed for the ball, vainly most of the time, in fact his total touches barely reached double figures. No worthwhile conclusion to be made except he is not in their future plans, and no indication of his destination.

agenda man has arrived. had a perfectly good performance, got a good assist, got involved, played some nice passes, had some great runs through the middle, had a goal disallowed. none of this will ever dissuade you as you've already had your mind settled from day 1 and the facts are irrelevant to you

at some point I just have to assume you don't actually watch the matches that you claim and just have a prewritten message ready to go whenever he takes the pitch
