How much do we reckon he'll be on ?
The figures in the media are huge, although the relatively low transfer fee helps a lot
It'll be something along the lines of:

£67m release clause (?)
£900,000 a week wages, all tax free (but £500k a week hidden behind some dodgy accounting practices)
£125m to his agent
£3m for a driver
£8m goal bonus
£15m boot deal that we'll actually pay for via a dodgy slush fund run by a crown prince
£25m TK Maxx sponsorship deal that is paid for via Etihad airlines, or some other company directly owned by the Royal family

All will be revealed by an article in Der Speigel.

Oh, and in a two page spread there will be an article on why he actually wanted to go to Real Madrid but the deal fell through due to us having dodgy finance deals in place that meant the world's biggest club couldn't afford him due to dirty oil money. Oh, and Ronaldo signed an extension to his contract at the Rags meaning they didn't need him....

No need to get carried away, Keegan is a chancer, using a window of opportunity and the balance of probabilities, as the buyout clause deadline approaches.

If anyone now writes City have triggered the clause, then that's because they have and that's the only story to break.

Everything else is just fluff, as this deal has been done for months.
Who needs Christmas and birthdays when we have Tolmies Hairdo?

You're indirectly saying it's gif time aren't you!

Very nice 20 odd pages, as @tolmie's hairdoo & @93.20blue have said the deal hasn't really moved on as it's already 'done so' and can't really move further until it's actually done.

What last night does show is that every other club is shuffling their feet and using every excuse in the book why they didn't get him.

An LFC mate who’s clearly getting salty about this move already:

“It isn’t actually mate. And if you were on the receiving end you’d fucking hate it. How we are competing and knocking you out of competitions under the circumstances is nothing short of incredible”
