CL goals aged 21 and under

Haaland 23
Mbappe 21
Messi 17
Benzema 13

Saw the above on Sky earlier, this kid is a goal machine. Let's hope he can get over his injury problems as he will take us to the next level imo. Can't wait to see him in that sky blue shirt.

I couldn’t agree more, yet Haaland is a better option in the long run as he is younger and can learn and adapt easier.
Haaland’s hold-up play is massively underrated and is a big reason Reus, Sancho & Hazard got the numbers they did. Also a lot of his goals came when he had next to no space in the box. Plus, we’ll get a lot more room to counter into in the CL, like we did against Madrid. The only worry I have is injuries, that’s it.

Another bonus of this is he isn't playing in the world cup in the winter. So while most clubs star players will be tiring themselves out he'll have his feet up. A fully rested Haaland for the second half of the season will be huge.
It's a good time to get him. No commitments this summer and then a mid-season break.

Hopefully it'll help to clear his niggles and keep him in tip top condition.

While I don't think we should be getting too giddy yet, leave that to the red shirt mob, but having just watched Sky's report that it looks like he his heading here I think we can safely leave it to the media to put a dampener on thins for us.

Apparently he is not bad value at around £65M for a goal a game striker, but we will have to sell a couple of very talented players and we should be worried about his injury record.

Actually, I think it's our duty to get overexcited as no other bugger will!

It's close, Rag Cafe have confirmed it.

Something about this HUGE transfer feels very flat, not sure if its the prolonged envitability of it all or just the fact its a soulless oil club taking him, it just doesn’t have the same impact as a Chelsea, Liverpool, Madrid, Barcelona signing, very weird.

Imagine the City fans are creaming themselves but there’s just something flat about it, maybe its too obvious.

_____________&

Don’t rate him as high as other people. I just don’t see it with him so I’m glad he is not eating our whole budget. The guy has huge flaws in his game. Powerful, Good finisher yes but his all round is sorely lacking. Kane is twice the player albeit older. He would have been another big money disaster for us. City are making a mistake not going on for Kane. Haaland doesn’t have the vision and technical ability of Kane nor have ample space to run into like in bundesliga. Pep’s Ibra at city and city’s lukaku. One was better than Haaland, the other less but this transfer reeks the same to me. Mark my words. A mismatch and misfit. So sure of that.

Fucking lol.

This rag twat is probably their chief scout given his knowledge of a player and their current squad!

The sky reporter yesterday sighed and said “well City didn’t slip up” he look absolutely gutted. Goodness knows what they will be like when he signs.

If there is any truth in the expectation that this could get announced this week, there isn't really any good time to let it happen. Now through to Wednesday, too close to the wolves game and a distraction where Pep has to deflect. After Wednesday, too close to the west ham game and same distraction. Next week seems more sensible with a whole week before we play villa, and enough there with the last game of the season to put focus on in press conferences.
