Waddle hates city with a passion so no surprise there. On the topic of Balo, the guy has gone back to his cant be bothered self again. I can never understand why any substitute isn't running his arse off when he's only on the pitch 15 mins. He hardly broke a sweat for his 80K. He does my head in. Lazy, stroppy bastard who for some amazing reason has his own song when others deserve much much more then he goes and does something great. Ahhhhh!!!!

Waddle was a joke today.
First he insisted that Mackie should have gone down under a Savic challenge where Savic made contact with the ball saying "from the referee's angle he'd have got a penalty".
Then he slagged off Balotelli for his dive, when the QPR defender pulled out of his challenge.
Surely double standards suggesting one player should dive for a penalty and then when somebody does he slags them off for doing so?
Note: I'm not suggesting Balotelli was right to dive.

I agree with all of that However...until (IF EVER) Virgin/sky have city tv on them ESPN is the best we can hope for ......after all would you rather listen to Rat face Neville on sky...

I thought the commentator and Piss Twaddle were both appalling - it was like a non league side were at home to a top side in the fa cup, everything the underdogs did was brilliant and everything we did was shite - keegan (as ever) and even burley were completely fair but the commentary team were cunts

It's not just the commentary though, it's everything about ESPN in general that makes is hard to watch a game on there.
Panning to the crowd whilst the ball is in play to see; fans bite their nails viciously, celebrities in the directors box, someone leave for a pie at half fucking time, fireworks, etc. This happens at least 10 times during a game on ESPN and it's not needed. I always find myself saying, "Get it on the game.." at least 4-5 times a match.
The commentary is shocking. John Champion doesn't have the ability to talk for prolonged periods of time like Tyler does, the punditry is beyond awful (Waddle & Burley), it even manages to sound bad! (it's like listening to "The Sounds of a Football Match" on a pair of shit earphones with 'treble' on full.)
I'm so glad I don't pay for it and I'm sorry for those who do. It's awful.
