lads bit of help, my name 4 times is a long story but to cut it short it's because we have won the thomas cook trophey 4 times, would you say i will have to start over again, to say 1 time seen as it is going to be linked with ethidad?????????

wot the f**k ???? am i on drugs or do u understand this ???

Do we have to qualify or are we still getting a bye to the final????

I have spoken with the owners and we have to beleive that winning this trophy is a realistic target and one I fully expect us being able to achieve.

I strongly doubt it can be Celtic because doesn't the SPL start a week before us and that game is always the Saturday before the start of our season(the 8th)and the Saturday the 1st we are away to Barnsley. In otherwords unless they moved it midweek there isn't a free date to play them.

Thank fuck. We should get a higher calibre of team than Celtic.

We've only one it 3 times out of the 5 times it has been contested:

2004 - Lazio (W)
2005 - Olympiakos (W)
2006 - Porto (L)
2007 - Valencia (L)
2008 - AC Milan (W)

WANTED man Nicolas Anelka struck a 40-second opener as Manchester City completed their pre-season preparations with a handsome win over Lazio to claim the first Thomas Cook Trophy.

What about against Barca in 2003? We won 2-1

Wasnt Thomas Cook Trophy we were sponsored by First Advise. Plus there was no trophy then that game was just to open the stadium.

spl starts the week after as Scotland are away to Norway the Wednesday after this game, doubt it could be Celtic as the champions league prelims are the midweek before so they could be playing in that ?
