Its not the most important thing in the world but I thought I would bring it up.
Lets be fair about it, Abu Dhabi have been magnificent in their support of MCFC.
Its a pity their marketing boys could not have come up with something more catchy, legible for our shirts and the name of their airline than ETIHAD. Harlequin's Rugby Club are in the same boat.

Does anybody know if Etihad means anything in English?

Doesn't it mean United?

Are the new kits made by Puma?
 
Eithad is an arabic word also used in Urdu Language.

One word meaning would be United but in detail it means to be together where every one backs every one up and no one pulls the leg all have the same goal and all work towards achieving that goal.
 
Brilliant Airline, I always fly with them from Thailand - Manchester.

The best thing is, You can accumalte Air Miles ( Etihad Guest ) When you fly once, then after that, you gain access to VIP Lounges in every airport, and you can cash the miles in. I got myself a free iPod Touch 8gb last year,

Again, really good airline.

Does anyone know if City season card holders/members will get discount with the airline???
I'm going to see by brother when he is in Australia next year, hopefully end of may and I've been looking at flying with them.
 
Well it just shows our club is moving in the rite direction. If we just think for a moment about all the recent changes.

Umbro: Leading brand

Eithad: A five star Air Line which would probably over take many others including emirates at least not a bankrupt AIG and has the best service in the world.

Big BROTHER: We signed a deal with them to promote us globally

Media Center at City


And a lot more that has been happening.

I feel management that are working at the back end deserve Kudos as they are doing a magnificent job in taking us to new heights.

But they have not been appreciated by the fans as much as they should be because these are long term plans not just for one season but to take this club to heights where it would never come back down from.
