Etihad Airways

Its not the most important thing in the world but I thought I would bring it up.
Lets be fair about it, Abu Dhabi have been magnificent in their support of MCFC.
Its a pity their marketing boys could not have come up with something more catchy, legible for our shirts and the name of their airline than ETIHAD. Harlequin's Rugby Club are in the same boat.

Does anybody know if Etihad means anything in English?

I means Unity mate, next

Eh? Why would they be rags?
It did'nt read right to me,but then again i'm trying to keep the kids under control and follow the tread.Not easy.
My mistake.

Nah, I think you're right. But their attempt at being smart was still so stupid we couldn't understand it. Have seen these threads by rags before. Haha, guess they imagine we'd care.

Again and again Etihad does not mean united.
Here is my prove :

open google translator and translate (اتحاد.....the way Etihad written in Arabic) to English------->unity.

Then,translate (متحد) ---------->united.
